Florentina Niculescu
SEP, clinical psychologist, integrative psychotherapist
She is an integrative psychotherapist and clinical psychologist. She has been a SEP (Somatic Experiencing® Practitioner) since 2018 and is now also an assistant on all levels. She has been working as a psychotherapist since 2014. She has gained extensive experience in alleviating symptoms resulting from complex trauma in cross-cultural settings, using various methods (counseling, group work, crisis management in multinational companies).
She has also participated in various trauma-related training programs, including EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing, Levels I and II), the Tune into Children training in Austria and Germany in 2019, and the SOMA® master training developed by Sonia Gomes - primarily aimed at experienced clinicians to enhance clinical effectiveness by fully integrating body, energy, and awareness into psychological processes.
She is the founder of the Association Pasi catre tine (www.pasicatretine.ro), a local non-profit organization supporting those seeking psychological help. They offer personalized interventions for all who approach them; organize training for helping professionals to better understand post-traumatic stress-related issues and be more aware of the possible consequences of stress (sensu-stricto); and strive to promote new approaches to healing mental trauma and increasing resilience.
At the University of Bucharest, she participated in the master's courses "Psychotraumatology and psychological support; Clinical and applied psychology, counseling" at the Department of Psychology and Educational Sciences, where she previously wrote her thesis titled "Personality factors - moderator of the relationship between adverse childhood experiences and resilience among students."

Since 2014, I have been doing volunteer psychotherapy work at a center that works with women who have experienced physical or sexual abuse or domestic violence."
