Andi Szász
Clinical psychotherapist and SEP

Andi is a clinical psychotherapist and trauma specialist. She works in private practice in Sydney and is an auxiliary clinical lecturer at the University of Sydney. The foundation of her work and method is psychodynamic psychotherapy, the 'Conversational Model', Somatic Experiencing®, and she also utilizes the findings of attachment theory and interpersonal neurobiology.
She holds a medical degree (specializing in psychotherapy) and is a Somatic Experiencing® Practitioner (SEP). She has trained in SE® Post-Advanced modalities - focusing on attachment theory, shame resolution, chronic pain, and Dr. Kathy Kain's touch work. She has participated in Dr. Peter Levine's master class and Dr. Diane Poole Heller's courses.
Andi is a reliable coder of the Adult Attachment Interview and is currently working on her doctoral dissertation at the Brain and Mind Centre of the University of Sydney. She considers it her passion to integrate theoretical knowledge with the deep wisdom of the body, as well as her experiences gained in her own psychotherapy practice over the past 15+ years.
In addition to being an SEP, Andi is also a certified Brainspotting, EMDR, MATES, and Daring Way® facilitator, incorporating these methods into her practice. Her passions include live music, travel, yoga, dance, and martial arts.
"I'm very happy that SE® has reached Hungary, and it's a great joy to be a member of the team."
